CB Defense: REST API Authentication Failing with Custom RBAC Access Level

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to authenticate to the REST API using an API Key with a Custom RBAC Access Level, the authentication fails.

Environment

• CB Defense Web Console: All Versions
• CB Defense API Key

Cause

RBAC Access Levels are not integrated with the integrationServices REST API at this time.

Resolution

Using the API Access Level for the API Key will allow successful authentication to the REST API.
