Carbon Black Cloud: Sensor Version No Longer Available For Update In The Console

• Carbon Black Cloud Enterprise EDR (formerly Cb Threathunter)

Issue/Introduction

• Unable to see previously available sensor version(s) in dropdown menu when trying to update sensors from the Carbon Black Cloud console.
• When selecting an Endpoint or Workload, then clicking the Take Action > Update sensors buttons, a previously displayed earlier sensor version is no longer available to choose under the VERSION dropdown menu.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions

Cause

This is by design. After a sensor version is more than 13 months old it will no longer be available for update in the console.

Resolution

If a supported sensor version, that is no longer available in the console, is required, please open a new support case with Carbon Black support.
