Carbon Black Cloud: Linux Sensor Collects No Data after Installation

Issue/Introduction

After sensor installation, the sensor is able to checking in to console, however no data is collected from the sensor in Investgiate page.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: All Supported Linux Sensor Releases
• OS: All Supported Linux OS Versions

Cause

Blades is not installed during sensor installation.

Resolution

1. Uninstall the current sensor
2. Reinstall sensor following the Sensor Installation Guide
3. Make sure cb-psc-install/blades/bladesUnpack.sh has been run together with sensor installation
