EDR: Newly added minion node cannot run due to DNS resolving issue

Issue/Introduction

• New minion is adding to existing cluster, and failed with DNS resolving error.
• The whole cluster cannot start after new minion added.
• Remove the new minion brings the cluster up and run again.

Environment

• EDR: All supported versions
• Linux: All supported versions

Cause

DNS is not configured properly on new minion, which leads to minion communication failure.

Resolution

1. Ping DNS server from new minion to check if new minion is able to connect to DNS server
2. Ping cluster Master and each Minion nodes from new minion to check if new minion is able to connect each node.
3. Check hosts file to confirm each node IP addresses are added properly.
