CB Workload: Access Error Messages Displayed on the ESXi Host

Issue/Introduction

• ESXi host shows "Unable to access appliance or Carbon Black Cloud service. Please contact your administrator."
• CarbonBlack appliances work fine with Carbon Black cloud and vCenter.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud
  • Workload: All supported versions
• VMware ESXi: All supported versions

Cause

The error message is related to ESXi Host User World.

Resolution

• If Host User World is not enabled, customer can safely ignore this error message without any issue
• If Host User World is enabled, please contact CB Tech Support team for further investigation
