Issue/Introduction

Application crashes after installing Sensor on Mac Endpoint.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: All Versions
• Operating System: MacOS

Cause

Unnecessary setting configured in Jamf Profile Deployment.

Resolution

Setting in profile "deny all public extension points" is not needed for carbon black.

Additional Information

Sensor was uninstalled and the profile was left on the system and the issue still occured. It was not until the profile was removed during testing that the issue went away. Further investigation showed that removing the configuration "deny all public extension points" from the profile resolve the issue. This setting can be modified during a JAMF deployment.
