Issue/Introduction

• Connection to page times out
• Example Error Mesage: Error: health.cbcloud.de took too long to respond.

Environment

• CB Response Cloud: All Supported Versions

Cause

• DNS Resolution of health.cbcloud.* host

Resolution

• Use nslookup and traceroute/tracert to confirm traffic is being routed properly.
  • 'Properly' meaning, for instance, that https://health.cbcloud.de isn't being routed back to the US if meant outside of the US.
• If the traffic looks like it is off location, try changing DNS to a publicly hosted DNS for testing.
  • Suggestions for test DNS servers : 8.8.8.8 , 4.2.2.2 .
• If confirmed as a DNS issue, add in a static entry for the health.cbcloud.* site.
