CB Response: Kernel Panic Occurs When Attempting To Install Sensor On Mac Endpoint

Issue/Introduction

Kernel Panic occurs when attempting to install the CB Response sensor on a Mac endpoint running High Sierra (10.13) or higher.

Environment

• CB Response Sensor: 5.2.12 and Older
• CB Response Sensor: 6.1.2 and Older
• Apple MacOS: 10.13 and Newer

Cause

Unsupported version of CB Response Sensor installed on Mac endpoint.

Resolution

High Sierra and higher Mac OS's require CB Response Sensor 5.2.13 or 6.1.3 and higher.
