Is it expected that the file permissions for the EDR folders are different between installation and service startup?

Environment

  • EDR Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

Yes, this is expected behavior. During service startup the file permissions are changed to be owned by cb, so the permissions would be different than what was dropped during install.
