Issue/Introduction

The cb-enterprise services are unable to start successfully, receive error "Job for cb-enterprise.service failed because the control process exited with error code."

Environment

• EDR Server: 7.2 and Higher

Cause

EDR services files were modified and moved from original location.

Resolution

• Attempt to revert any changes made to services files.

Tampering with EDR service files is strongly discouraged, unless directed to do so by VMware.
