Issue/Introduction

  • Does MacOS require an uninstall or deletion of an existing sensor installation when pointing to a new server?

Environment

  • EDR Server: All Versions
  • Mac OS: All Supported Versions

Resolution

  1. This will require an uninstall of the old package for OS X sensors.
sudo /Applications/CarbonBlack/sensoruninst.sh
  1. Install with the new server's sensorsettings.ini which includes the client cert and url to communicate.
