Issue/Introduction

Receive error "String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated." when attempting to modify a field in an existing Rapid Config.

Environment

• App Control Server: 8.1.6 and Higher

Cause

Rapid Config field character limit of 2048 has been exceeded.

Resolution

• Modify Rapid Config field while remaining within 2048 character limit.
• If Rapid Config cannot be modified without exceeding the character limit, consider creating a new rule to accommodate the modification attempted.
