Issue/Introduction

• Unable to locally approve the selected file(s)
• The following error can be found when trying to approve the file in the approval request page:

Approve file locally failed for 'x' item(s).               

Environment

• App Control (Formerly CB Protection) Console: All Support Versions

Cause

• The file itself is not in local state
• It is a temp or incomplete/corrupted file

Resolution

The file cannot be locally approved, unless it has completed download from the browser and/or written locally into the disk of the endpoint.
