Issue/Introduction
What is the impact for enabling "Private Logging" in the Sensor setting under Policies?
Environment
Endpoint Standard (Formerly CB Defense): All supported versions
Resolution
When Private Logging is enabled, the sensor does not upload a memory dump.
Events logged after enabling private logging will protect sensitive details by redacting: fully qualified domain names, URLs, command line arguments, user names, registry data, obfuscating document file names and notĀ resolving IP addresses to correlating domain names.
Changing this setting does not affect previous stored data.
Additional Information
To see the detailed information about the file in alerts, please disable 'Enable private logging level' from the policy.
