Cb Defense: Malware Removal Page Showing Incorrect File Deletion Status

Issue/Introduction

• Malware Removal Page shows a status that is inconsistent with the Investigate page's File Deletion Status

Environment

• Cb Defense PSC Console: Version .37 (April '18 Release) and above

Cause

• There is Currently a known limitation that causes the "Malware Removal" page to display a status of "Deleted" when only the simple request for deletion has been sent out providing a possible false status depending on the actual current progress of deletion.

Resolution

• An accurate file deletion status can be found within the "Investigate" Page by searching for the Application name or hash, as well as within the "Applications" Tab and "Selected App" tab.
