Issue/Introduction
Remove the earlier deployed Carbon Black Cloud Workload appliance virtual machine (VM) from the vCenter Server.
Environment
Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
Carbon Black Cloud Workload
CWP Appliance: All Supported Versions
Resolution
From a browser, log in to the Carbon Black Cloud Workload appliance at https://<Appliance IP address> using the admin credentials
Go to the Appliance > Registration tab.
In the SSO lookup configuration section, click Edit, and then click Unregister.
In the vCenter Server details section, click Unregister.
To unregister, click OK.
Log in to the vSphere Client using administrator credentials.
Power off the Carbon Black Cloud Workload appliance VM.
Delete the Carbon Black Cloud Workload appliance VM from the datastore, right-click the appliance VM.
Select Delete from Disk, and click OK.
The appliance is deleted from the vCenter Server. The Carbon Black Cloud Workload Plug-in is uninstalled as well. To verify, log out and log in to the vCenter Server.
Validate the Carbon Black Cloud console displays the appliance health status as "Disconnected"
Log in to the Carbon Black Cloud console.
From the left navigation pane, click the Settings > API Access > API Keys page
Go to the appliance API. Validate the appliance name with a link next to the appliance API name
Click the appliance name with a link. Verify the appliance health status shows as "Disconnected"
