Is it safe to delete the /var/opt/carbonblack/response/pkgs/cbsensor-*.rpm files after sensor installation?

Environment

• EDR Linux Sensor: All Versions
• Linux OS: All Supported Versions

Resolution

Yes. These files are supposed to be removed as part of the installation script and should not exist after a successful install is completed.

Additional Information

• If these files still exist, they are safe to remove, as leaving them in can cause sensor upgrade failures.
• This should be resolved in CB-35143.
