Cannot uninstall or deregister Carbon Black Cloud Linux sensors using the Web Console on the Endpoints page

Cause

This is by design.

Resolution

No, it is NOT possible to uninstall a Linux sensor via the Console. Only MacOS and Windows sensors support sensor uninstall from the console according to the User Guide.

Additional Information

To properly uninstall a Linux sensor follow the steps found in the Sensor Installation Guide under the "Uninstalling Sensors" section, specifically under the "To uninstall a sensor on a Linux endpoint" sub-section.
