Does the Sensor support the Catalina Beta release of macOS?

Environment

• CB Defense PSC Sensor: 3.3.3.35 
• Apple macOS: 10.15 Beta

Resolution

Yes, Sensor version 3.3.3.35 supports the Catalina Beta (please see Additional Notes)

Additional Information

• macOS Catalina is still in beta, so results may vary while Apple continues to release new iterations 
• The 3.3.3.35 version of the Sensor is the only Sensor version that supports the Catalina Beta
• New Sensor installs on Catalina will require a system reboot before the KEXT can load due to new Apple requirement 50340461
• Best practice is to first upgrade the Sensor to a compatible version prior to upgrading the OS (For Example, upgrade Sensor to 3.3.3.35 prior to upgrading 10.14.x to the 10.15 beta)
• Any Sensor version prior to 3.3.3.35 will enter Bypass if installed on Catalina
• If the OS is upgraded to Catalina prior to updating the Sensor to 3.3.3.35, the Sensor will enter Bypass
