App Control: Host Package Installer Times Out With Logs Showing Successful Install

Issue/Introduction

• Host Package Install hangs on "Install is running. Please Wait..."
• Parity Server\Support has a HostPackageInstaller log showing a success
• Install times out after 15-20 minutes

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions

Cause

The service account is not a local administrator

Resolution

1. Add the service account to the local administrative group
2. Re-run the host package installer
