Cb Protection: Begins With and Ends With Source Filters Not Working After Upgrading to 8.1 P2

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to 8.1 patch 2 an error is returned when using a saved view on the events page. "An error occurred while processing your request. See the error log for more details."

Environment

Cb Protection Console: 8.1 P2 and Higher

Cause

A defect was introduced in 8.1 P2. 

Resolution

This issue has been addressed in EP-7682. 

1. Download the hotfix here: http://transfer.vmware.com/download?domain=carbonblack&id=90f205a614ad4a31989b8e6c08bb4538-dd88a5b84ebf424cbd718932448502fe
2. Extract the files.
3. Replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Bit9\Parity Console\WebUI\include\Util\String.php with the String.php file from the zip package.
