Issue/Introduction

Steps to confirm the current account used for the App Control Server service.

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft Windows Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

1. Log in to the application server hosting the App Control Console.
2. Go to Start > Run > services.msc > click OK.
3. Locate the App Control Reporter and App Control Server services.
4. The Column, "Log On As" will show the user account. 

Additional Information

Server version 8.0 - 8.5 the Windows Services were named:

• Cb Protection Reporter
• Cb Protection Server

Server versions prior to 8.0, the Windows Services were named:

• Bit9 Server Service
• Bit9 Reporter Service
