"DB_DataObject Error: No Database Name" Seen When Navigating the Console Pages

Issue/Introduction

Error in the App Control Console - "DB_DataObject Error: No database name / dsn found anywhere"

Environment

• App Control: 8.0.0 - 8.10.4
• Web Browser: All Supported Versions

Cause

A Session Token used for authenticating with the Console is corrupted due to an unexpected timeout.

Resolution

This issue was tracked under EPCB-20358 and resolved with the release of Server 8.11.0. Upgrading the Server to that version (or higher) will resolve the issue.

Additional Information

• As a workaround, establish a new web session outside of the existing browser session (Incognito, Private Browsing, switch browsers, etc) to generate a new authentication token.
• In some extreme cases, if the App Control Server is temporarily under extreme load it is possible for Session Tokens to be repeatedly corrupted, even across multiple browsers.
• In those extreme cases, waiting for the load to subside and establishing a new web session is the only available option.
