App Control: DASCLI Password Access locked

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to input the command “DASCLI password <password>" and seeing the error 'Access Denied. Password Access locked'

Environment

• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions

Cause

This lockout occurs after three unsuccessful “DASCLI password <password>” attempts, which most often occurs due to a mistyped <password>

Resolution

There are two options to resolve this issue:

• Restart the Computer
• Wait 30 minutes and try to input the DASCLI password <password> command again.
