Issue/Introduction

To uninstall a disconnected Linux Agent when the Global CLI Password is known.

Environment

  • App Control Agent: All Supported Versions
  • Linux: All Supported Versions

Resolution

  1. In a terminal window run the commands to allow the uninstall:
    cd /opt/bit9/bin
    ./b9cli --password GlobalCLIPassword
    ./b9cli --tamperprotect 0
    ./b9cli --allowuninstall 1
  2. After the allowuninstall flag is set, uninstall with the command:
    sudo sh ./b9uninstall.sh
