App Control: Excessive Deadlocks on 8.7 with large Filename or Pathname Tables

Issue/Introduction

• Multiple Deadlocks listed in SQL Logs
• Server Log includes errors similar to:

  gave up on re-running statement : SET NOCOUNT ON;{?=CALL dbo.InsertPathname}
  gave up on re-running statement : SET NOCOUNT ON;{?=CALL dbo.InsertFilename}

  
   

Environment

• App Control Server: 8.7.0

Cause

This issue was tracked under EP-14341 and resolved with the release of Server 8.7.2.

Resolution

Upgrade to Server version 8.7.2 or higher.
