Issue/Introduction

Steps to downgrade or rollback an Agent on an endpoint or the Agent Installer on the Server.

Environment

• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions
• App Control Console: All Supported Versions

Resolution

NOTE: Currently it is not possible to rollback an existing Agent installation on an endpoint. The existing Agent will have to be uninstalled first.

 

1. Acquire the previous Host Package Installer and upload to the Console.
   • The Agent Installer can be upgraded/downgraded on the App Control Server.
   • This will allow the Server to generate Policy Installers using the relevant version.
2. Uninstall the existing Agent from the endpoint.
3. Install the Agent using the newly generated Policy Installer.
