Endpoint Standard: LabelMatrix does not start with sensor in active state

Issue/Introduction

• The program LabelMatrix 2019 by Teklynx does not start  when sensor is in active mode.
•  Placing the sensor in  bypass mode resolves the issue .

Environment

• Endpoint Standard sensor: 3.6.0.x
• Microsoft Windows: All supported versions
• Teklynx: LabelMatrix 2019 

Cause

The cause of the issue is not known.

Resolution

Following API bypass rule for LabelMatrix can be applied:

C:\Program Files*\LABEL MATRIX 2019\lmw.exe

Additional Information

If encountering this issue, collect the sensor and procmon logs and open a case with Carbon Black Support.
