Carbon Black Cloud: Pending Install for a user cannot be deleted if same user has an active sensor

Issue/Introduction

• If there is a Pending Install for a user and an Active Sensor for the same user (i.e. same E-mail ID is used for both sensors), then it is not possible to delete the "Pending Install" entry from UI
• When deleting the "Pending Install" entry, it fails with the error:

  Deletion failed - Only pending invitations can be deleted.

• In the HAR file, the delete call for "Pending Install" endpoint failed with an HTTP Status 400 and message:

  "message": "Owner [email protected] has active devices"

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: November 2020 (0.60.0)

Cause

This is a known issue with the November '20 (0.60.0) Console Release

Resolution

This has been resolved since the 0.66.0 console release in May 2021 (see DSER-29041 in the console release notes)
