Pending Install for a user cannot be deleted

Issue/Introduction

• If there is a Pending Install for a user and an Active Sensor for the same user (i.e. same E-mail ID is used for both sensors), then it is not possible to delete the "Pending Install" entry from UI
• When deleting the "Pending Install" entry, it fails with the error:

  Deletion failed - Only pending invitations can be deleted.

• In the HAR file, the delete call for "Pending Install" endpoint failed with message:

  "Cannot delete devices in states other than deregistered, uninstalled and pending"

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: July 2025

Cause

This is a known issue with the July Console

Resolution

Reach out to support as we are looking into this behavior
