Issue/Introduction

• Installing an EDR Server throws the following error message

                 Warning: failed loading '/etc/yum.repos.d/CarbonBlack.repo', skipping 

Environment

EDR Server: All Versions
Linux: All Versions

Cause

The baseurl in the CarbonBlack repo file is formatted incorrectly

Resolution

Verify that the baseurl in the Carbon Black repo file /etc/yum.repo.d/CarbonBlack.repo is formatted correctly

Correct

baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/stable/$releasever/$basearch/

Incorrect

baseurl=https://yum.distro.carbonblack.io/enterprise/stable/
$releasever/$basearch/

 

 

Additional Information

The Example content at the following link is incorrect
