Issue/Introduction

Do the EDR servers or sensors have a dependency on Oracle Java?

Environment

  • EDR Server: All Supported Versions
  • EDR Sensor: All Supported Versions

Resolution

  • There is no Java depedency on the endpoint for Windows, MacOS, or Linux
  • The EDR server uses OpenJDK Java, Oracle Java is not being used, and there is no plan to use Oracle Java
