CB Response: Windows 2012 servers incorrectly reported as Win 2016

Issue/Introduction

• Windows 2012 endpoints are displayed as Windows 2016 in the Cb Response web interface. 

Environment

• Cb Response Sensor: 6.2.1
• Windows Server 2012

Cause

This is caused by a known sensor issue, CB-23322. 

Resolution

• This is resolved in the CB Response Windows Sensor 6.2.2 and later. 

Additional Information

• Other incorrect Windows OS combinations may exist. 
• Windows 2019 may show as Windows 2016 in the Console.
