CB Response: Mac OS sensor install .pkg certificate expired

Issue/Introduction

• The CarbonBlackClientSetup.pkg certificate is expired
• Attempts to install the package may fail due to the expired certificate

Environment

• CB Response Sensor: All Versions
• Mac OS: 6.2.3.81119 and lower

Cause

• The certificate for previous versions expired on January 29th, 2019

Resolution

• Use sensor 6.2.3.90116 and higher for a valid certificate
• Older sensor versions can still be installed, but may appear as untrusted during the install

Additional Information

• The certificates for previous sensor versions were valid when originally created, as such, previous sensor versions will not be re-packaged with the latest certificate. 
• For Jamf installation, use -allowUntrusted to override
