CB Defense: VDI / Imaged Devices Reverting to the Virtual Desktops Policy

Issue/Introduction

After installing a Sensor it reverts to the Virtual Desktops policy.

Environment

• CB Defense Sensor: All Versions

Cause

This is expected behavior.

Resolution

The backend will assign the policy to a Sensor using the following logic:

1. If a Sensor Group default policy exists apply that policy. 
2. Apply to Virtual Desktops.
3. If Virtual Desktops doesn't exist, place the Sensor in the Standard policy.
