Issue/Introduction

Can you remove and application from the deletion list once it's been submitted for deletion via the Carbon Black Cloud Web Console?

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
• Endpoint Standard: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions
• Apple macOS: All Supported Versions

Resolution

No, once you request an application be deleted via the web console, it cannot be undone.

Additional Information

• To avoid accidentally deleting a wrong file:
  • Ban the application you are targeting first before actually deleting it to help you gauge the impact of that applications removal from your environment. Length of time to the banned list before deletion is up to you, but we recommend a few days at least (not counting weekends).
  • Verify that you are submitting the correct application that you wish to delete
