Endpoint Standard: Policy Rules Are Not Automatically Line Separated In Firefox

Issue/Introduction

• Pressing Enter key will not display a new line for policy rules
• Pressing Enter repeatedly will only add spaces and no new line(S)

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
• Endpoint Standard (was CB Defense)
• Firefox: All Versions

Cause

With a recent UI change, permission rules no longer use commas to separate the application paths. New application paths are now to be separated by a new line. Investigation is being done to identify  the issue with line separation when entering to a new line.

Resolution

VMware Carbon Black recommends using another supported browser. For macOS and Windows both Chrome and Edge and macOS, Safari
