Managed Detection: Receiving Alerts to an Email not Added to the Console

Issue/Introduction

A Managed Detection alert is found sent to an email that has not yet been added to the CB Defense Web Console via the Managed Detection page.

Environment

• CBC Web Console: All Versions
• Managed Detection: Optional Add-on Subscription

Cause

The original Managed Detection email set up for a company enrolled with Managed Detection prior to May '19 needs changed

Resolution

1. Submit a Carbon Black support case to have it removed.
2. Add the new email address to the CB Defense Web Console via the Managed Detection page.
