Move log directory location for EDR Server

Issue/Introduction

Change EDR Server log directory location from default (/var/log/cb)

Environment

• Carbon Black EDR Server: 7.0 and higher

Resolution

1.  Stop the server/cluster services
2.  Create a folder which will contain the new EDR log directory (example uses /data/log)

mkdir /data/log

3. Move existing logs to new location

mv /var/log/cb data/log/cb

 

4. Create a symbolic link from old directory location to new

ln -s /data/log/cb /var/log/cb

5. Start the server/cluster and validate that new logs are going to the expected location
