CB PSC: How to manually hide the local UI

Issue/Introduction

Hide the sensor UI notification tray icon locally on the endpoint

Environment

• CB PSC Sensor: All Versions
  • CB ThreatHunter
  • CB Defense

Resolution

1. Place the sensor in Bypass mode
   • How to toggle sensor bypass with the RepCLI utility
   • How to toggle bypass via the console
2. Navigate to cfg.ini file and open with Notepad (Will require running Notepad.exe as an Administrator)
3. Modify the following line
   • DisplayUI=true TO DisplayUI=false
4. Save changes to the cfg.ini
5. Restart the PSC Sensor service
6. Run the following RepCLI command
   • repcli updateconfig
7. Disable Bypass mode 
   • How to toggle sensor bypass with the RepCLI utility
   • How to toggle bypass via the console
8. Reboot the endpoint
