Resolution
Information related to CFG.ini changes are implementation-specific details. Some values exist for historical reasons, some are for maintaining them across upgrade/reboot scenarios. The cfg.ini file also provides a convenient avenue for inserting configprops for troubleshooting purposes.
The cfg.ini contents are only intended for internal audiences, as they are subject to change. They are not intended for customer usage unless under explicit instruction. KBs have been created as necessary for troubleshooting and fixes, but modifying cfg.ini should not be standard operating procedure. The cfg.ini file should not be altered or used by customers unless explicitly directed by Carbon Black.
The details of specific settings may change in future without notice.
