Issue/Introduction

Does a CB Response Cloud server use static IP addresses?

Environment

• CB Response Cloud: All Versions

Resolution

• Every effort is made to keep the IP addresses the same.  However, there are limited circumstances in which an IP address may change.

Additional Information

• In the event of an IP address changing, it is recommended to whitelist according to hostname and the Fully Qualified Domain Name.  This will allow a customer to retain access to the server.
• Notifications are not sent when an IP address changes.
