Issue/Introduction

How to determine what the MainEngineThread error codes mean

Environment

• CB PSC Sensor: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Resolution

1. Launch a command prompt (Administrator privileges are not necessary)
2. Using the number from the MainEngineThread error line, run the following command: 

   net helpmsg <NumberHere>

3. The system will return the explanation for the error.

Additional Information

These error messages are provided by the Operating System, not the sensor. Typically there is a Microsoft article for each code to further expand on what is displayed in the command prompt.
