Issue/Introduction

Temporary files not deleted upon closing Excel

Environment

• Cb Defense Sensor: 3.0.x.x, 3.2.2.x, 3.4.0.1047
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft Office Excel

Cause

This is a known issue affecting the Cb Defense Sensor 3.2.x.x and Excel

Resolution

• This is resolved in the 3.1.x, 3.2.1.51, 3.3.x, 3.4.0.1016 and 3.5.x Sensors and Higher please upgrade to resolve the issue

Additional Information

• Delete the .tmp files after saving and closing the document
• Try creating a permission bypass rule for the affected MS Office application temporarily
