Issue/Introduction

Permission Denied when running repcli status

Environment

  • Carbon Black Sensor: 3.3.3 and newer

Cause

Lack of permission to run the command.

Resolution

Run command using Sudo.
  1. Navigate to RepCLI Sensor Path
    • 3.4.4 and Older - the RepCLI client can be found at /Applications/Confer.app/Contents/MacOS/repcli. 
    • 3.5.0 and Newer - the RepCLI client can be found at /Applications/VMware Carbon Black Cloud/repcli.bundle/Contents/MacOS/repcli.
  2. sudo ./repcli status

Additional Information

repcli status command will print Full Disk Access Configurations.
If the internalcode and uninstallcode are provided, then sensor alarm details are also printed out.
