Issue/Introduction

  • When using /usr/share/cb/cbssl backup an exception is encountered:
$ sudo /usr/share/cb/cbssl backup --out SSL-Backup

descriptor 'hex' for 'bytes' objects doesn't apply to a 'str' object

Cause

  • Known issue in EDR product.

Resolution

  • This item has been resolved in the 7.5.0 release of EDR.
  • To workaround the issue, please export the certs in the /etc/cb/certs.
