Issue/Introduction

Why am I seeing repeated Event ID 17 events for the Cb Defense Background Scan?

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions 

Resolution

• This is expected behavior.
• Once the Background Scan has completed, Event Viewer will show an Event ID 17 in the Application Events log to indicate the status of the Background Scan each time the service starts.
