Issue/Introduction

Can a Carbon Black Cloud sensor be installed on a virtual endpoint be rolled back as part of a snapshot restoration?

• Carbon Black Cloud (formerly PSC)
  • Endpoint Standard (formerly CB Defense)
  • Endpoint Advanced (formerly CB Defense + CB LiveOps)
  • Enterprise EDR (formerly ThreatHunter)
• Virtual Machine

Resolution

Currently rolling back the Carbon Black Cloud sensor as part of a snapshot is not supported 

Additional Information

• Not supported due to potential upload of duplicate events
• To see this supported in future implementations of the product, please open a feature request
• This applies to rolling back base images to a specific point in time
