Issue/Introduction

Should a Supporting Partner add customers' sensors to a partner's org?

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Web Console: All Versions
• CB Supporting Partner

Resolution

No, each customer should have a private Org to log into.  This is due to security and legal concerns.  According to the agreement, each customer is entitled to a private Org to set up and administer sensors.

Additional Information

• If a customer was not given an Org upon purchase of the CB Defense product then please inform Carbon Black by contacting the Technical Support department.
• This refers to all partners, including:
  • MSSP
  • IR
  • Other types
