What may cause persistent Hyper-V servers to disappear from the Hyper-V console after a sensor is installed?

Environment

• Endpoint Standard (formerly CB Defense) sensor: all supported versions
• Microsoft Hyper-V: All versions

Resolution

One probable cause may be Microsoft Hyper-V recommended antivirus exclusions are not in place for the Hyper-V hosts in the Endpoint Standard console
