EDR: After server upgrade unable to launch UI nginx in a stopped state

Issue/Introduction

After server upgrade nginx service stopped unable to load console no data in /var/log/cb/nginx/startup.log 

Environment

• EDR (Formerly CB Response): All supported versions

Cause

After server upgrade 'nginx' did not start therefore no data would be recorded in the nginx startup log for troubleshooting

Resolution

Instead search in the \var\log\messages log for timeouts and further troubleshooting of stopped service

Additional Information

There can be multiple causes nginx or any other service does not start. In this case was searching for nginx service start timeouts as well as a possible cause for the timeout
